Orsôrum: 2003-04 Edition

2003-04 was the first year of the club and the debut of the literary magazine at Klein Oak. There had been a couple of attempts in previous years to publish a lit mag at KOHS, but none succeeded -- until the groundbreaking success of the 2003-04 production staff of Orsôrum.

Working together with David Vaughan of Kwik Kopy, the staff produced a magazine that was 7" wide, 8.5" tall and contained a total of 64 black-and-white pages with a stapled binding and a glossy, color cover. The lit mag featured 39 examples of student writing and 22 pieces of artwork by a total of 48 talented writers and artists from across the KO student body. The front cover was designed by Courtney L. and the back cover by Chelsea R. The layout was designed and the magazine put together by Nara K. (Editor) and Susan G. Other 2003-04 production staff members included Courtney L. (Secretary), Abby B. (Sales), Megan B., Kitty J., and Ramsey C. The sponsor was Mrs. Mastracchio.

In addition to putting out the magazine, the 2003-04 Orsôrum staff also started the tradition of an annual literary magazine at Klein Oak High School that will hopefully be continued for years to come. Great job, Panthers!!
